Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti, has clapped back at Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo after calling him out.
This comes after Iyabo Ojo accused Seun Kuti of supporting VeryDarkMan, a controversial social media activist, who she claims is a nuisance online.
Seun Kuti denied enabling VeryDarkMan’s behavior and instead criticized Ojo for using her influence to oppress others.
In a video message on Instagram, Kuti said, “I’m not a confusionist. I never opposed your fight with VeryDarkMan, but I said you shouldn’t use the police to oppress people. If you’re angry, please don’t be. Continue to be an oppressor. Use the police to arrest everyone, including me.”
Seun Kuti also accused Iyabo Ojo and others of politicizing the death of singer Mohbad, claiming it was an agenda against Naira Marley.
He alleged that Iyabo Ojo destroyed Naira Marley’s career by turning people against him.
Seun Kuti stated, “You turned people against Naira Marley, pinned a crime on him to destroy his career. I told you to sue VDM if he defamed your character, no need to lock him up.”
