A family has been left heartbroken following the death of a set of Siamese twins recently in Katsina state.
The twin babies were conjoined at the stomach, a predicament which saw the family struggle and seek financial assistance from the public for a surgery to separate them, after their delivery.
Reports have it that the babies passed away by 2.00pm on Friday.
Some time ago, a housewife delivered of a set of conjoined twins at the General Hospital, Malumfashi, Katsina State.
The Siamese twins, who were joined in the mouth and stomach, were born dead.
