The suspected thief who was broke into some trader’s shops at night in Umuahia, the state capital, with the aim of carting away some goods, was apprehended on Friday. The suspect who confessed to the crime, gave names of his accomplices as John, Chinedu and Ifeanyi.

Happening now in umuahia the state capital of abia state, a man who disguise himself as a madman who has been behind the breaking of shops along Aba road / olokoro road in the night especially during rainfall was caught this morning by the owner of the shop as you can see the man admits to the crime…..

This is coming few weeks after a 35-year-old Nigerian man who identified himself as Oyahere Johnson from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, was nabbed with a black toy gun replica of Barreta pistol, which he said he had been using to rob unsuspecting victims who pass his hideout at Eko Bridge, Lagos.
Operatives of RRS, disclosed that the man’s arrest came after a motor cyclist around 11:00 p.m on Sunday, tipped them off on what Oyahere was hiding. They rushed to the scene and saw the man hiding the gun in his trousers, and trying to run away. He was arrested and searched, and the toy gun was recovered.
There was also a report of one Emeka Anthony Uche who pretends to be deaf and dumb in order to steal from unsuspecting victims. According to reports, Uche’s expertise was to sneak into peoples’ offices, steal laptops and other items. Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad arrested him after one of his escapades. CCTV footage of his exploits were compiled by the police, before he was arraigned in court.
