Imam Tawhidi, popularly known as the Imam of Peace on social media has spoken out after a Muslim woman was pictured wearing a burqa in a pool.
The Imam condemned the “years of brainwashing” that makes Muslim women have to cover up completely because men see their entire body as “100% vagina”.
Sharing the photo, he tweeted: “This is not normal behaviour. This is the result of many years of brainwashing and being convinced that her entire body is 100% vagina— because that’s how they see her. My heart breaks for her, and for her daughter who by the age of 9 will live the same way. Very very sad.”
