The singer surpassed her male colleague, Wizkid who was once the second most followed Nigerian on the photo-sharing app.
At the moment, Davido boasts of the most followed Nigerian celebrity, with a whopping 28.2M followers.
While Wizkid who was next to him remains at over 17m followers, with Tiwa now pushing him to number 3, with 17.9m followers.
Wizkid has exactly, 17.8m followers, leaving a hundred thousand gap between them.
Tiwa’s fans have been celebrating the new win.
