Toke Makinwa’s ex-husband Maje Ayida lost his Dad, Allison Akene Ayida who died on Thursday at Saint Nicholas Hospital, Lagos at the age of 88.
Allison Akene Ayida was on 16th June of 1930, Ayida attended Kings College, Lagos, Oxford University, United Kingdom, and entered the civil service after graduation. He rose to the top of the Nigerian civil service and became famous as super permanent secretary.
As the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Economic Development he was instrumental in shaping Nigeria’s post civil war economy. Later in life he was on the boards of several companies and chaired a Nigeria bank.
Maje Ayida is however yet to report to news of his father’s death formally.
