Tragedy was averted in Lagos this afternoon after a truck fully ladened with Petrol spilled its content at Secretariat busstop in Alausa, Ikeja. The timely intervention of the fire service prevented an explosion from occuring.
This incident comes weeks after 10 persons were killed with 50 cars destroyed after a leaking petrol tank exploded at the Otedola bridge in Lagos.
