Tunde Ashaolu, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, publicity secretary in Kwara State has died 24 hours after his birthday.
The politician died just a day after Bukola Saraki hosted him and his birthday mate, a former Chairman of Ekiti local government, Kwara, Akintoba Fatigue, to a get-together in Abuja.
Confirming the sad development in a Facebook post, a friend and colleague of the deceased, Billy Adedamola, announced thus: “We lost this evening, a friend and brother, Tunde Ashaolu, Kwara state publicity secretary of PDP.
“He marked his birthday yesterday in Abuja where he was celebrated by the former President of the Senate, Dr Bukola Saraki and today he has gone to meet his creator. Tunde was a loyal, dedicated and hard-working party man. May his gentle soul Rest In Peace.”
Ashaolu died sunday evening.
