Recall 2 weeks ago we reported about a 69-year-old woman who is an amputee and also suffering from a severe breast cancer.
A facebook user, “Franca Anaka” took it upon herself to raise a campaign asking the public through her facebook page to come to the aid of the woman by contributing money for her treatment.
Earlier today, Franca took to her facebook page to inform the public that the woman has died.
She also thanked everyone who contributed for her treatment.

You fought to live, but the battle I believe, is The Lord’s. We did our best to keep u alive, unfortunately you gave up. Few Nigerians tried in their own little way to help but it wasn’t enough to keep u going. I wish I knew about your ailment a month ago. I only found out about 3wks ago, by then not much I could do, I’m not God. He knows the best. To think that you were in that condition for a year, Mama you tried.
Rest in The Lord, dear Mama.
Thank you to everyone out there for your support, it’s little but much for this family to survive for a while, after she’s laid to rest. it’s not in vain.
For those of you who came to wish her goodbye this morning as she departed, God bless you all. Her neighbor Chioma Ann Ewim-Udeh and others from far, God bless you all.
The family will concentrate on taking care of her husband who’s leg is amputated and paralysed from waste down. It is well with you Papa, take heart.
