Davido performed at a music fest in Namibia and with the kind of reception he got judging by the video shared on social media, the fans sang along as if he is performing back home in Nigeria. At a point his fans went wild that security had to step in, to protect him.
Video shows an overzealous security guard throwing fans off the stage. When the show was getting rowdy, security officials had to quickly step in to protect Davido after he was pulled into the very excited crowd. At a point, the Assurance singer had to be ferried off stage by his security aides due to the actions of his over excited fans.
In another video, Davido was seen handing over his jewellries to his security aides so as to forestall it being snatched off his neck by his overzealous fans.
The singer had disclosed plans to exchange marital vows with his girlfriend, Chioma Avril in a recent Instagram post. He shared a photo of Chioma with the caption: “The Love of my life !! Can’t wait to spend forever with you ❤❤”
And responding to the post in the comment section, Chioma replied saying: “I can’t wait either love you.”
Earlier in 2018, Davido reveals Chioma as the woman after his heart and the only one who loves him dearly. He rolled out drums to celebrate Chioma’s birthday and even surprised her with a Porsche car.
