
Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have resolved their visa dispute, with the UAE lifting its ban on visas for Nigerian passport holders effective July 15, 2024.

According to Nigeria’s Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, the agreement allows Nigerian travelers to obtain UAE visas under new conditions and controls.

As learnt on Daily Trust, Further details of the agreement are expected to be released in a statement later.
This development marks a significant breakthrough in the diplomatic efforts between the two nations to resolve the visa issue.
