The restaurant staff is being celebrated because he was not even close to the choking customer who was surrounded by other customers and was eating at the table with a lady who appeared a little confused but gave a few taps on the back of her dining mate.
The customer felt immediate relief after the restaurant employee successfully performed the Heimlich maneuver. He can be seen nodding his head to proof he was grateful and actually felt relieved.
