Wayne Rooney ‘fighting’ to save his job after heavy losses at Plymouth Argyle

Wayne Rooney is facing mounting pressure at Plymouth Argyle following consecutive heavy defeats.

The team lost 4-0 to Bristol City and 6-1 to Norwich, leaving them 21st in the Championship.

Since taking over in May, Rooney has managed 20 games with a record of five wins, five draws, and ten losses.

The Telegraph reports his job is at risk, with the next two home games against Oxford and Swansea considered crucial to his future.

If Rooney is dismissed, it could coincide with his wife Coleen’s return from the reality show “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!”
