Arsenal continued their impressive resurgence with a dominant 5-2 win over West Ham at the London Stadium.

The victory propelled Arsenal to second place, narrowing the gap to leaders Liverpool to six points.

Mikel Arteta’s side showcased their attacking prowess, scoring 13 goals in their last three games. Bukayo Saka was the catalyst, inspiring his team with a series of impressive performances.

The match witnessed an extraordinary first half, with all seven goals scored within the opening 45 minutes. Gabriel Magalhaes opened the scoring with a header from Saka’s corner in the 10th minute. Leandro Trossard added a second goal with a tap-in, courtesy of a slick combination play between Saka and Martin Odegaard.

Odegaard converted a penalty kick in the 34th minute, awarded after Lucas Paqueta fouled Saka. Kai Havertz then scored Arsenal’s fourth goal, latching onto a simple ball over the top from Trossard.

West Ham briefly rallied, scoring two goals in quick succession through Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Emerson. However, Arsenal restored their three-goal advantage when Saka converted a penalty kick in the 45+5 minute, after Lukasz Fabianski fouled Gabriel from a corner.

The second half saw West Ham attempt to reduce the deficit, but Arsenal’s defense held firm. The win marks Arsenal’s third consecutive victory, demonstrating their determination to stay in the title race. West Ham, meanwhile, drops to 14th place.
