Where is President Tinubu? Let us continue to pray for his return – Peter Obi
NDC presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has again questioned the whereabouts of President Tinubu and has urged Nigerians to continue to pray for his safe return.
In a statement shared on social media this morning, Obi said that at a time when world leaders are in NewYork attending the United Nations General Assembly, President Tinubu chose to be absent for the third time in a row.
He mentioned that the Ghanaian President, John Mahama, is currently at the 81st session of the UNGA and delivered a remarkable speech. Obi said its against this backdrop that he is asking where the President of Africa’s most populous nation is and why he is not attending the UNGA. He urged Nigerians to continue to pray for his return and for his leadership in addressing the many challenges confronting the nation.
