Hollywood actress, Gabrielle Union has opened up on why she supported her 11yr old stepson Zion as he marched at the Miami Gay Pride Parade.
The two day festival event brought together members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community, and Dwayne Wade’s son was present.
Speaking about how it feels having her husband’s son at the gay pride parade, Gabrielle Union said:
“It feels normal. My mom took me to my first pride at eight years old. We moved to San Francisco, and it’s kind of part of being a global citizen.”
She added:
“People talk a lot about diversity and inclusion, but they don’t actually mean it. In our household, we mean that, and that’s why the entire household went to pride.”
