Yemi Alade has opened up about why a collaboration with Tiwa Savage hasn’t happened yet
On the Jude Chinwo podcast, she emphasized her strong track record of working with female artists—including Omawumi, Waje, and Seyi Shay. Yemi explained that teaming up with Tiwa is something she prefers to approach cautiously.
“The fan favorite is the one you mentioned,” she said, referring to Tiwa. “I’d rather just stay clear; I don’t want problems in my life.”
She clarified that there’s no personal conflict, but pointed out how fans and media can sometimes overcomplicate situations:
“No problem at all. It’s just that most times fans and media stir waters that are supposed to be calm. I’m not trying to make something out of nothing because there really isn’t any problem.”
