Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves might have had the most blissful marriage in Hollywood – without even realising it.
The actors fear they may have been secretly married for the last 26 years.
It’s all down to the fact that they tied the knot in horror film Dracula in 1992, but in front of a very real priest.
And they shared their realisation while on the promotional trail for their new movie, Destination Wedding.
Winona, 46, and Keanu , 53, said director Francis Ford Coppola brought in a real priest to marry them in the flick, which starred Gary Oldman in the titular role.
It means the vows they exchanged could have been real this whole time.
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly , Winona said: “We actually got married in Dracula. No, I swear to god I think we’re married in real life.
“In that scene, Francis used a real Romanian priest.
“We shot the master and he did the whole thing. So I think we’re married.”
After reminding Keanu that they’d swapped ‘I dos’, he asked: “We said yes?”
She replied: “Don’t you remember that? It was on Valentine’s Day.”
Keanu then said: “Oh my gosh, we’re married.”
Stranger Things star Winona has never married, and has suggested in the past that she might never walk down the aisle – well, in real life anyway.
She’s been in a relationship with Scott Hahn since 2011.
She told Net a Porter in 2016: “I’d rather never have been married than been divorced a few times.
“Not that there’s anything wrong with divorce, but I don’t think I could do it if that was a possibility.”
She also said her standards are “really high” thanks to the fact her parents have been “madly in love for 45 years”.
Matrix star Keanu has never married either, at least not as far as he knows.
