A 28-year old mother, Abigail Agbubla has allegedly killed her two children by poisoning over her husband’s failure to give chop money.
The children, a boy and a girl aged two and eight months respectively, were killed with rat poison.
They were found dead on a bed and locked up in their rooms, on Thursday, after residents became suspicious of their whereabouts.
The suspect initially fled the scene but was arrested by some residents who handed her to the police.
Upon interrogation, Abigail said she committed the hideous crime because she could no longer afford to take care of them.
