Karen Vamplew, a 43-year-old woman is facing accusations of mu!dering her disabled mother-in-law, Elizabeth Vamplew, who died in a fire at her home. The prosecution claims Karen started the fire to inherit money.
During the trial at Leicester Crown Court, witnesses raised suspicions about Karen’s actions. Amanda Ennells, Elizabeth’s niece, found it strange that Karen’s pyjamas were clean despite her claim of trying to rescue Elizabeth from the fire.
