A 19-year-old woman, Fatimo Agboke, has been accused of fatally sta-bbing her neighbour’s son, Faroul Azeez, during a confrontation in the Ijegun area of Lagos State.
The incident occurred around 9:20 p.m. on September 9, 2024.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed this to Punch correspondent on Wednesday.
The 19-year-old suspect reportedly got into a fight with the 20-year-old victim, during which she allegedly grabbed a broken bottle and st*bbed the victim in the neck, resulting in Azeez’s death.
Attempts to rush the deceased to the hospital for medical attention were in vain, as he tragically passed away on the way.
Hundeyin stated that the suspect had been arrested and detained, adding that an investigation was underway to uncover the incident’s circumstances.
