Young Thug’s attorney, Brian Steel, was held in criminal contempt of court by Judge Ural Glanville on Monday
The incident stemmed from a secret meeting between the judge, prosecutors, and a key witness, Kenneth Copeland.
Brian Steel refused to disclose who informed him about the meeting, leading to a heated exchange with the judge.
Brian Steel argued that the meeting was improper and constituted witness coercion, while Glanville demanded to know Steel’s source.
The judge eventually ordered Steel taken into custody, sparking confusion in the courtroom.
After intervention from prosecutors and Thug’s other attorney, Steel was allowed to return, but the judge maintained that Steel would face consequences if he didn’t reveal his source by 5 pm.
