President Muhammadu Buhari has said that those who want to destroy his government will suffer the shock of their lives as they will be treated in a language they can understand.
The president made this known on Tuesday after meeting with the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Mahmood Yakubu; and other election commissioners in Aso Villa, Abuja, on the series of attacks against INEC facilities, particularly in the south-east of the country.
Buhari further revealed that he receives daily security reports on attacks on critical national infrastructure, and it is very clear that those who support them want this administration to fail.

According to him, “Anyone who wants the destruction of the system will soon have the shock of their life. We gave them enough time.
“Today I received a briefing from the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, on the series of attacks on their facilities nationwide. These attacks are totally unacceptable and we will not allow those who support them to achieve their evil goals.
“I assured INEC that we will provide them with everything they need to function effectively, so that no one is saying that we don’t want to go or that we want a third term. There will be no excuse for failure. We will respond to all requests from INEC.
“In the area of security, we have changed the heads of service and the inspector general, and we demand that they be up to the challenges we face. There must be zero tolerance for all those who are determined to destroy our country by promoting crime and insurgency!
“Many of those who behave badly today are too young to be aware of the destruction and loss of life during the Nigerian civil war. Those of us in the fields for 30 months, who have been through the war, will treat them in the language they understand, ”he said.
