Namibia partners with Nigeria to combat corruption

 

The Namibian government has sought collaboration with Nigeria’s Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) to enhance its anti-corruption capabilities.

During a courtesy visit, Namibian Ambassador to Nigeria, Humphrey Geiseb, acknowledged Nigeria’s expertise in fighting corruption and expressed interest in learning from its successes.

He praised the ICPC and EFCC’s achievements in asset recovery.

ICPC Chairman, Dr. Musa Adamu Aliyu, welcomed the partnership, emphasizing the importance of collective action against corruption.

He offered training opportunities through the Anti-Corruption Academy of Nigeria (ACAN) to support Namibia’s anti-corruption efforts.
