The President of Coscharis Group, Dr Cosmas Maduka, has been inducted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Directors, Nigeria.
This conferment was made known through a statement made available to The PUNCH on Monday by the company’s General Manager of Marketing and Corporate Communications, Abiona Babarinde.
According to Babarinde, Maduka was honoured with the award at the Fellow’s Night, after which an investiture was held recently in Lagos with the theme ‘Public Sector Governance Code: The Route to Public Sector Excellence & National Development’.
The automobile company boss clinched the award after being considered an outstanding contributor from the private sector in the country.
According to Babarinde, the President of the institute, Tijjani Borodo, stated that Maduka was recognised with the fellowship following his exceptional contribution to corporate governance and leadership over the years.
He added that the induction of Mduka as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Directors was a significant acknowledgement of his impact on the business community and his dedication to advancing best practices in corporate governance and leadership.
Commenting on his award, Maduka expressed his appreciation to the institute for the investiture.
He said: “The privilege of being honoured with a fellowship award among these renowned personalities by a reputable institute like the Chartered Institute of Directors Nigeria is a recognition that carries deep significance to me.
“This is another challenge to me to remain steadfast, consistent and focused as a leader in the competitive corporate environment to be relevant as an entrepreneur that continually delivers value for money at all times.”
