Update: Police have released Ilebaye’s father and retrieved her brothers from me- Ilebaye’s mother
Ilebaye’s mother, Lami, has revealed that the police have released the reality TV star’s father, Emmanuel Odiniya .
Odiniya was taken into custody by the Wuye Divisional police station in the early hours of today, May 9, after videos of an ass@ulted Ilebaye surfaced online. In the video, her father could be seen standing above her as she cried for help with her face swollen.
According to the distraught mother, their marriage of 32 year have ended and after court proceedings, he was handed custody of their two boys, 14 and 11 years old.
She told LIB that Ilebaye had gone to visit him just to ask him some questions before her 24th birthday which is today May 9 and also to see her brothers who attend boarding school. However, the questionning session took a different turn as he accused Ilebaye of being engineered by her mother.
Lami told LIB that following his arrest earlier today, her two sons were handed over to her by the police. However, at about 9am this morning, she was forced to return the boys to the police who called threatening her and reminding her that the court had granted their father full custody of them.
She denied claims that Ilebaye was on any form of drugs.
She mentioned that Ilebaye has now been discharged from the hospital after taking over three drips to get stabilized.
Efforts to confirm this development with FCT police command, SP Josephine Adeh, proved abortive as she did not pick her call.
