PRESIDENT TINUBU CONDOLES WITH CHIEF KENNETH KOBANI OVER THE PASSING OF HIS MOTHER
President Bola Tinubu has condoled with Chief Kenneth Kobani on the loss of his mother.
A statement signed personally by the President says, “On behalf of my wife and the Federal Government, I extend my condolences to Chief Kenneth Bie-aa Vikel Naade Kobani on the passing of his mother, Mrs Rosemary Titi Kobani.
My sympathies also go to the entire Kobani family and the people of Goi and Bodo City in Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State on the painful loss.”
The President commended late Mrs Kobani’s uncommon kindness, compassion, and generosity, whose maternal care extended beyond her immediate family.
He also commended her strength of character in soldiering the painful loss of her husband in the disastrous events surrounding the deaths of the Ogoni 13 for over thirty years.
He notes, “the loss of a mother is a deeply personal one. The pain of the loss becomes even more profound when we realise she is irreplaceable. I therefore urge Chief Kobani and the family to draw strength from the beautiful memories they shared with their mother and the positive impact she made on the lives of others.”
President Tinubu prays Almighty God grants the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and comfort every grieving heart.
“May the soul of Mrs Rosemary Titi Kobani rest in perfect peace, and may her memory remain a lasting source of inspiration to her family and community,” the President concludes.
