A man who was apprehended by police with a firearm – has been accused of killing his girlfriend. According to reports, the suspect identified as Mabvuto Ndlovu of Kapiri Mposhi, Zambia, was this afternoon arrested by police with the pistol..
His girlfriend was last year discovered dead in a bush. Rumour has it that he took his girlfriend to the bush and killed her there before coming back alone.
He reportedly pretended that he had not seen her! Some people claimed they saw them together but he denied being with her and was let go because the police had no single evidence to apprehend him..
But 1 year and 2 months down the line, police today discovered a gun in his apartment after his friend reported him to police.
This has caused family members of the late girlfriend identified as Rachael Shumba, to suspect him and claim he might also be behind her death which happened last year January.
Rachael was shot twice in her chest.
