The grieving ex-husband of Naya Rivera , Actor Ryan Dorsey,37, has found solace in a friendship with the actress sister , Nickayla Rivera ,25.
Daily Mail reports that the duo have been inseparable since 33-year-old Naya drowned while boating with her five-year-old son Josey on California’s Lake Piru in July,2020.
The reports state that Ryan and Nickayla have now moved into a three-bedroom rented house together where they are caring for their Naya’s 5-year-old son, Josey.Since the tragedy, they have been leaning heavily on each other for support and comfort.
After the explosive story went viral, Nickayla released a statement on her Instagram Story in which she does not deny moving in with Ryan.
“I’m not concerned with the way things look because no one can see each agonizing moment we all endure,” she wrote.
In her message, Nickayla wrote that the only important things to her are her “friends & family,” particularly her nephew Josey.
“In the darkest time of my life, the only thing that is important is my friends & family. Showing up for my nephew even though I can’t show up for myself,” the model wrote, adding, “What matters most I’ve learned, is to show compassion, not to judge others and never take a moment for granted. I hope you all can do the same.”
