Another fire incidence have just claimed the life of a Catholic priest.
At about 3:46am today Saturday November 16, the Anambra State Fire Service received a distress call of a fire outbreak at the Parish House of St. Peter’s Catholic Church Nnewi Ichi Uruagu in Anambra State.
Men of Anambra State Fire Service were immediately deployed to the fire scene and they have contained the situation.
However, the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Edmond Nwagbara was not so lucky as he lost his life during the fire outbreak.
A source told TGB that the clergyman was fast asleep inside the room where the fire incident emanated.
The cause of the fire incident is unknown as at the time of this report.
The corpse of the parish has since been taking away by ambulance.
