The husband of a human resources executive who was caught cuddling up with her married boss at a Coldplay concert has broken his silence to confirm he and his wife had already separated when footage of her went viral

Andrew Cabot, a businessman who has been married to ousted Astronomer executive Kristin Cabot, 52, for two years, was on a business trip to Japan in mid-July when his family was thrust into the spotlight.
Kristin was seen happily swaying in the arms of her boss, Andy Byron, 50, as they took in Coldplay tunes in the moments before they realized their love-in was being broadcast across the 66,000-seater Gillette stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

Their reactions then became the stuff of memes, as Kristin raised her hands to her mouth before both she and Byron tried to duck out of the camera’s view.
Andrew was said to have been ‘blindsided’ when he returned to find reporters outside his $2.2million waterfront home in Rye, New Hampshire that he shared with his wife and his two children.
He has now confirmed to People that he and Kristin were already ‘privately and amicably separated several weeks before the Coldplay concert’.

‘Their decision to divorce was already underway prior to that evening,’ a spokesperson for Andrew, who is the CEO of Privateer Rum, told the outlet.
‘Now that the divorce filing is public, Andrew hopes this provides respectful closure to speculation and allows his family the privacy they’ve always valued.’
Andrew got married to Kristin in 2023.
It is unclear how the couple plan to split up their assets, as Andrew is a direct descendent of one of the original Boston Brahmin families.
The term refers to the historic aristocracy in Boston, dating back to the the earliest English colonists. These ultra-wealthy families held significant social, political and cultural influence from the 18th century onward.
Andrew is now heir to the family fortune, believed to be worth about $15billion.
The viral incident may also prove costly to Byron.
In his two years at the helm of Astronomer – which was in the process of securing huge contracts globally – is believed to have amassed at least $13billion.
He was also likely to have share options of up to five percent of the AI firm’s $1.3billion value.
It is unclear whether he withdrew share options before he and Kristin resigned from their positions at Astronomer amid the backlash to the video, which showed they had been seated prominently in the front row of the mezzanine.
