The Lagos Division of the Court of Appeal has sentenced Senator representing Delta North District at the National Assembly, Peter Nwaoboshi, to seven years imprisonment.
Nwaoboshi was convicted on Friday 1st of June for money laundering.
The court, citing Section 22 of the Money Laundering Prohibition Act 2021, ordered that his two companies be wound up.
