EFCC Visits OBI’s Home, Polling Unit

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission visited the home and polling unit of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi.

The officials, who came in an unmarked white Toyota Hiace bus, arrived at Obi’s house but the candidate was absent. They proceeded to Amatutu Ward 2, Polling Unit 019 at exactly 10:25 am.

They, however, did not grant interviews to journalists and no reason has been ascertained for the purpose of the visit.

The leader of the EFCC team was seen having a chat with the members of INEC in the unit, urging them to call the commission’s helpline if they need help.

The EFCC team lead also had a brief chat with Obi who was on his way back from a tour of the village.

The team left the polling unit, promising to come back soon.
