Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom has honored his commitment to the family of Abigael Frederick, a makeup artist who tragically died in a boat accident in Delta alongside actor Junior Pope and other crew members in April.
Governor Eno handed over a fully furnished six-bedroom bungalow to Abigael’s family, renovating their previous home as promised during his condolence visit in April. He also provided:
– N1 million business support grant to the family
– N1 million educational grant to her siblings
In a social media post, Governor Eno emphasized his dedication to keeping his promise, driven by humanity rather than politics.
He stressed the importance of empathy and collective support, highlighting that true leadership involves taking action for the greater good.
