The incident occurred in the morning hours at the station located on Agbani Road, Enugu.

According to The Nation, no lives were lost, thanks to the swift response of the federal and state fire services.

However, three vehicles waiting to purchase fuel were torched.

The police have secured the area and restored normalcy, with the Agbani Road axis leading to the fuel station barricaded by men of the fire service and security operatives.

The Enugu State Police Command has confirmed the incident, with preliminary investigations suggesting that the fire may have been caused by fuel leakage from one of the vehicles buying fuel at the station.
