‘Sky Sport Alemania’ assures that Sergio Ramos’ medical with PSG will take place this Friday 2nd July or this Saturday 3rd July.
This news places the official announcement of his signing into next week, which would line up with the recent information that first came out of France.
‘RMC Sport’ were the first media outlet to report that Sergio Ramos and PSG had reached an agreement over his contract. This same source also indicated that his medical would take place in the next few days. ‘Sky Sport Alemania’ have since confirmed it. The German media outlet assures that it will take place this Friday 2nd July or this Saturday 3rd July.
This would place the official announcemount of Ramos’ move to PSG in next week. It would make sense that the club would not delay their statement any further than that, given that all the papers and other tasks would have taken place and all that would remain would be to formalise the agreement. As the Spaniard has always wanted, it will be for two seasons.
While Ramos watches Euro 2020 from his home and awaits his future to be resolved, he has shown in various posts how is keeping fit in the gym. He looks to be in good physical shape, meaning there should be no issues when taking his medical in the French capital.
His arrival at the Parc des Princes could have effects elsewhere in the market – namely, Kylian Mbappe’s proposed move to Real Madrid. It has already been rumoured that the striker will leave the club on a free in 2022, although PSG’s president insists that he will renew. Will he manage to convince him to stay with the help of Sergio Ramos?
