In a heartwarming gesture, Abdul Malik Zubairu, a Federal lawmaker representing Maru/Bungudu Federal Constituency in Zamfara state, has sponsored the mass wedding of 105 orphans who lost their parents to bandit attacks
The joyous event, which took place in Bungudu town, was attended by dignitaries from within and outside the state.
The brides and grooms were beautifully dressed, and the occasion drew a large crowd.
The lawmaker’s generosity included providing beds and bedding materials, paying N10.5 million as dowry for the 105 brides, and giving N100,000 to each groom to start a business.
Additionally, each bride received N50,000 to support their new journey.
This act of kindness has brought hope and happiness to the young couples as they start their new lives together.
