“Wives on Strike,” a well-known series by Omoni Oboli, is set to make a comeback on the big screen with a new chapter titled “The Uprising: Wives On Strike.”
Omoni, the film’s director and executive producer, revealed the news today on her Instagram page, stating:

Co-produced by Tomi Adeoye and Omoni, “The Uprising: Wives On Strike” serves as a follow-up to “Wives on Strike: The Revolution,” which chronicles the women’s fight against domestic violence after a tragic incident. The original film, “Wives On Strike,” debuted in 2016.
This sequel reunites the original cast – Omoni Oboli, Uche Jombo, Ufuoma McDermott, and Chioma Akpotha – alongside veteran actress Hilda Dokubo, Tomiwa Tegbe, Segun Arinze, Kalu Ikeagwu, Julius Agwu, Emeka Okoye, Bukunmi “Kie Kie” Adeaga, and Okey Bakassi.
