A Nigerian woman named Peace Kama has decided to move to Toronto, Canada, in search of a better life, citing the high cost of living in her home country.
In a video, she shared that a bag of rice in Nigeria now costs N80,000, and rent is N500,000, which she finds extremely expensive. She expressed her concerns about surviving on a salary of N70,000, which she feels is not enough.
Kama stated, “On my way to Toronto, because I don’t understand how I will buy one bag of rice for N80,000, pay rent of N500,000 with N70,000 salary.”
