Big Brother Naija Season 9 winner, Kellyrae, has addressed the dissatisfaction expressed by his wife Kassia’s family over their management’s decision to support him instead of her during the competition.
Known as DoubleKay, the couple initially shared the same management team while in the house.
However, after Biggie’s decision to unpair the housemates, forcing them to compete individually, the management chose to back Kellyrae’s progress over Kassia’s.
After her eviction, Kassia acknowledged that the decision made sense but mentioned that her family was unhappy with the preference shown to her husband.
In an interview with Naija FM in Lagos, Kellyrae commented on the situation. When the host asked, “Kassia said her family isn’t happy about your management’s decision to back you to progress on the show ahead of her,” Kellyrae responded, “Yeah, they are not happy. But they should understand that she is now married.”
Kellyrae and Kassia were together for ten years before getting married eight months ago.
