Nigeria – Cyprus To Deepen Bilateral Ties
A new chapter begins in Nigeria’s diplomatic presence in Cyprus as Ambassador Nkechi Linda Ufochukwu pledges to improve relations in key economic sectors.
This was when Ambassador Ufochukwu presented her Letters of Credence to Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides at the Presidential Palace in Nicosia, marking the official commencement of her duty as Nigeria’s envoy to Cyprus.
Ambassador Ufochukwu, who is Nigeria’s Ambassador to Israel with concurrent accreditation to Cyprus, conveyed President Bola Tinubu’s greetings and pledged to deepen bilateral ties.
The renewed engagement is expected to open new opportunities for Nigerian businesses, students and professionals in Cyprus, while creating a platform for increased Cypriot investment in Nigeria.
