Family of Nollywood actor Francis Duru announces burial arrangements
The family of veteran Nollywood actor, Chief Francis Duru has announced the burial arrangements for the late actor.
In a statement shared by the family and signed by his son, Ebuka Duru and his sister, Anthonia Chenyi (née Duru), the family invited family, friends, colleagues, associates and well-wishers to join them to pay tribute to the late actor, honour his remarkable life and celebrate his legacy of love and kindness.
According to the statement, the Service of Songs for Abuja will hold on Wednesday, 25th November 2026 by 5:00 PM at Family Worship Center, Idris Gidado Street, Wuye, Abuja.
The Service of Songs in Imo will hold on Thursday, 10th December 2026 at Late Pa Theophilus Ogide Duru’s Family Compound, Okai, Eziama, Isiala Mbano, Imo State.
The Funeral and Interment will hold on Friday, 11th December 2026 at Okai, Eziama, Isiala Mbano, Imo State.
The actor, popularly known for his role as Ahanna in Rattlesnake, died on 23rd October, 2026 at the age of 57 after a brief illness.
