Liverpool continue their perfect start to the season with a 3-0 win over Burnley.
They dominated throughout but it took an own goal from Wood to open the scoring. Alexander-Arnold’s cross took a big deflection off the head of the forward which took it looping over Pope and into the back of the net.
Just four minutes later, Mane doubled their lead from close-range when he curled his effort around the keeper and into the far corner.
Firmino then got his 50th goal for the club in the 80th minute when he fired his effort into the back of the net from outside the box to seal the victory.
So, that’s 12 points from 12 for Liverpool and they stay top of the table heading into the international break before they face Newcastle United in two weeks time.
Burnley still have just the one win from their opening four games, but will be hoping to turn that around when they face Brighton and Hove Albion in their next league match.
