Ghanaian rap star Sarkodie has unveiled the music video for his new song “X,” which features fellow artist Joey B.
The track is from Sarkodie’s latest EP, “The Championship.”
The EP showcases Sarkodie’s versatility, mixing thoughtful, celebratory, and confident themes. Sarkodie’s trademark style of rapping in Twi (a Ghanaian language) is prominent throughout the project, which also includes collaborations with artists Beeztrap Kotm and Xlimkid.
Awudu Musa directed the “X” video, which shows Sarkodie looking back on his music career, his luxurious lifestyle, and his status as a top rapper. Joey B adds to the song with a memorable chorus that ties everything together.
